Completely. I have so much resistance to even thinking about the world that Bo will inherit—just looking at his little pudgy toddler cheeks and thinking about this can undo me. When I first did the open sentences exercise with another person, my voice started cracking the moment I started speaking lol But then moving through the entire exercise, ending with the "Some ways I can use these feelings are…" I remember feeling both raw (in a good, honest way) and lighter.
