Kicking off Monday meditation gatherings + Zoom Link
See you at 9am EST! Plus curriculum overview
Hi friends,
After Trump's second inauguration, I knew one of the best things that I could offer at this moment is a meditation program for activists, organizers, and anyone who is looking for serious grounding right now. This is not just about reducing stress (though, that’s important too), but about internalizing a life-affirming worldview and harnessing the transformative power of discernment that comes from dedicated Buddhist meditation practice.
If you’re one of my original subscribers, you might remember that I offered something similar when I first started this business back in November. After I transitioned my small email list (mostly friends and family) to Substack in December, I let it go because I wanted to avoid the "drop-in meditation" fitness studio model, which I had done before and felt didn’t fully serve the deeper needs of those I wanted to help.
However, with Substack's video features, I realized that I could offer both weekly gatherings and a more in-depth curriculum that builds skills and deepens understanding, without inadvertently promoting a form of spiritual consumerism. This feels really exciting and in integrity with the type of education I want to offer in this membership community.
Below is an overview of the curriculum we’ll be exploring this year. You’ll receive our first video talk and guided meditation on Buddha-nature later this week. In the meantime, our Zoom link for our first Monday session tomorrow, April 7th is below.
Looking forward to sitting with you tomorrow morning!
xx
